Quad Cities Head Held High

Head Held High

The band was formed in 2000 as a four piece rock combo. Original members were Jeff Loder, vocals and guitar, Graham Fergusen, guitar, Craig Weiman, bass, and Chris "the Fish" Archer on drums. They played their last show on August 31, 2001 with the always great (and sorely missed) Purkle. The new lineup has found the band re-inventing itself as a power trio with original members Jeff and Fish, and newcomer, formerly of Dichotomatic, Kyle Jecklin. The decision to play as a trio was not an easy one, but the band found that they were very happy with the sound and power that was achieved with one guitar. With an arsenal of new and old songs Head Held High is back and better than ever. The sound is more polished, and the songs have matured, but the raw intensity that Head Held High is remains.

Jeffrey Loder - Vocals, Guitar
Kyle Jecklin - Bass (formerly in Dichotomatic)
Chris "the Fish" Archer - Drums
