Mike Wallace
Jazz guitar and songwriter.
Fireworks June 24th, 2005
Mike Wallace plays Jazz guitar with a style similar to Stanley Jordan. His performance is absolutely hypnotic. You look up at the clock and an hour has passed before you realize it. He chooses his setlist from several CDs of original songs plus a few Jazz interpretations of rock songs.

"Nationally recognized Moline native Mike Wallace has been referred to as a musical 'master of all trades'. His fingerstyle guitar compositions or 'Wallytunes' refuse to be pigeonholed into any one style. Mike combines the many influences of jazz, blues, ragtime and rock and roll with alternate guitar tunings making each arrangement uniquely his own. It’Äôs been said he plays like he has 20 fingers on each hand. He has played guitar professionally since the age of 12 and also plays banjo, mandolin and pedal steel and his newest acquisition, a Dyer harpguitar from the early 1920's." - findusat309.com
